1. Agreement
This EULA is a legal agreement between you and the publisher (David MAUS) governing your use of AFKSecurity (“Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
2. License grant
Subject to your purchase and compliance with this EULA, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the number of PCs covered by your license (e.g., 1‑PC license).
3. Restrictions
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where permitted by law.
- You may not redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software unless expressly authorized in writing.
- You may not remove or alter copyright notices or branding.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. The publisher retains all rights, title, and interest, including all intellectual property rights.
5. Updates
The Software may download essential data updates (rules/models/lists) to function correctly. Application updates may be released to improve stability, compatibility, and security.
6. Privacy
AFKSecurity does not collect or send telemetry or personal data by default. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Cybersecurity is layered; no software guarantees complete protection against all threats.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption.
9. Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.
10. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
